SummerWind Farm is located in Coweta County, Georgia, just north of the county seat of Newnan and 35 miles south of Atlanta. It is dedicated to the retraining of Thoroughbred racehorses for eventing, hunter/jumper, and dressage competitions as well as foxhunting and pleasure riding.
The Farm is on 62 acres of rolling, cross-fenced pasture land. Facilities include a 13 stall, center-aisle barn with a manager’s apartment, an equipment barn, kennel building, five pastures, four ponds, a fenced arena and two unfenced riding areas for flat work.
In addition to Thoroughbreds, SummerWind Farm is also home to another species of four-legged athletes, the SummerWind Greyhounds. Most of the Greyhounds are former racers, now pursuing amateur athletics or enjoying an active retirement.
The Farm is available for a limited number of events, such as weddings, receptions, corporate parties and charity galas. Its natural beauty and breathtaking vistas provide a picturesque setting for unique affairs that will always be remembered. |
